We had the honor of being guardians of our sweet Boston Terrier, Sally who we adored and who was such a loved member of our family. She never let us forget that she was around and that she loved us all. She left a large imprint and void in our lives when she passed seven years ago. It was unimaginable to think that we could ever again open our hearts to a new puppy.

Then we had the pleasure of meeting Dolores and John and their beautiful Boston family. They are an exceptional couple and we were touched by their friendliness and kindness. In addition to their overwhelming warmth, what clearly comes through is their incredible passion as breeders and the care they have for all their Bostons. They make sure that each one has every opportunity to thrive and live their happiest life. Any doubt that we may have had about a new puppy in the family was instantly erased! We were welcomed into their pack and we knew then that our fate was sealed! Soon after, Dolores and John shared the exciting news that their beautiful Bacall and her handsome beau, Percy were to become parents in December! Needless to say, we were ecstatic! Dolores and John kept us updated throughout the pregnancy and delivery. We were thrilled to meet Bacall’s babies a few weeks later. She was such a patient and loving mama! Living nearby, we had the wonderful experience and pleasure to cuddle with the puppies and watch them grow and develop their distinct personalities! We were blessed again to be given the honor to take home and be guardians to our adorable little Golden Girl, Betty!

Since then, we’ve had the pleasure of watching Betty grow and develop. Betty is both loving and lovable. She’s so smart and clever and quick to learn and pick up on things. She has a healthy dose of sass and mischief in her. If you’re missing a shoe, a pen, a hat or anything else you can be sure she’s dragged it to a far corner of the yard and is happily gnawing away on it. And she loves to play outdoors and spends her time exploring, burying her Greenie ‘bone’, doing her own brand of ‘gardening’ (tearing out plants and irrigation lines) and retrieving a thrown ball over and over again until she practically drops! Our grandchildren, ranging in age from two to seven, adore Betty and shower her with as many kisses as she gives them! They can't wait to visit Betty. These visits usually end with Betty cuddled up next to her charges, all exhausted from a fun day of endless play! Betty is perfect in every way and is the perfect addition to our family and is so very loved!

Thank you Dolores and John for making us part of the Delphi family. We are forever grateful that circumstances brought us together and that you entrusted us with our adorable Golden Girl, Betty. You’ve made our family complete again! With Betty’s arrival not only has our family gotten a little bigger but so have our hearts.
