2018 was the worst year and the best year for the Sanborn family. In a sudden and heartbreaking turn of events we lost our three-year-old Boston Terrier, Boogie. He was our first Boston Terrier as recommended by daughter-in-law Megan and Boogie made a cat family into, not only a dog family, but a Boston Terrier family.
Why Boston Terriers? Boston Terriers are a gentle breed with a strong, happy-go-lucky, and friendly personality that are eager to please. They are sweet, smart and handsome companions, protective of their owners and easily trained.
After Boogie passed, we were lost and broken with such emptiness and sorrow that we reached out to Megan and Chris to help us find a new companion. Enter Dolores & John with their beloved Rebel, a Delphi Boston. We took a trip to San Ramon to visit a wonderful home where we met Rebel and her four puppies (Hairy, Mame, Wally and Cannoli) along with Gaga and Bacall. A home of such love and caring where we learned about the “Puppy Culture” and the thoughtful process of raising confident puppies. In June 2018, after several visits we became the proud owner and grateful companion of Cannoli, when we took him home and into our hearts.
Cannoli. He wakes us up every morning with a kiss to the nose and climbs into bed with us. We go on walks, play fetch in the backyard, and tug of war. Cannoli makes sure his sister Odie (tuxedo cat) is OK with a daily sniff and kiss. He dances for treats and is eager to go for a ride in the car. We can’t imagine a life without our constant companion. All our love and thanks to Rebel, Dolores & John.
